Itinerary

Day 1
Chester

From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel to the medieval city of Chester, famed for its beautiful black and white Tudor buildings and unique ‘rows’ where the picturesque galleries run above the central shops. Here we have time to explore the great sights of the city such as the town hall and the Norman-era cathedral or refresh ourselves at a selection of bars and restaurants. Later, we rejoin the coach and continue to our overnight hotel.

Day 2
Liverpool

Today we enjoy time at leisure to explore the iconic city of Liverpool. From the famous waterfront to the impressive Liver Building and the renovated Albert Dock, the city holds a wealth of famous landmarks to discover, including the Cavern Club, the venue where The Beatles’ unstoppable popularity began. Or for those seeking the city’s many shopping opportunities, there’s a wealth of places to pick up a bargain, ranging from huge shopping centres filled with the latest trends to family-owned boutique stores.

Accommodation

The Beaufort Hotel in Mold is a comfortable hotel with individually designed rooms. All rooms are en-suite, with tea and coffee-making facilities, TV, phone, and hairdryer. The hotel features a restaurant, bar/lounge, and free Wi-Fi.

Hotel Rating

Hotels with a JG3 rating tend to be a more formal style of hotel, often part of a hotel chain, or are very-welcoming family-owned properties. Generally, they offer a greater range of facilities and services, and bedrooms tend to be a little more spacious with additional features. Public areas are larger and include lounge seating, bar and restaurant with good quality food served either buffet style or waiter service.
