Itinerary

Included Excursion
Whitby (half day)

Our half-day excursion takes us to the charming coastal town of Whitby, famed for its connection to Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Wander around the quirky streets and the picturesque harbour before tackling the climb up to the atmospheric ruined abbey perched on the cliffs above the town.

Optional Excursion
York (£15pp) (half day)

We can enjoy a half-day excursion to York, where the iconic York Minster boasts world-famous stained-glass windows and status as the largest Gothic cathedral in northern Europe. Other highlights include the narrow, cobbled streets of the ‘Shambles’, where the buildings date back to medieval times, the National Railway Museum, the Jorvik Centre which tells the story of York’s Viking heritage and the ancient walls surrounding the city. No trip to York is complete without a visit to the famous Betty’s tea rooms too!
