Itinerary

Sunday
Scarborough

From a morning pickup in your local area, we travel by coach to Scarborough, where we enjoy some free time at leisure to explore. Situated on Yorkshire’s coast between two large bays, Scarborough styles itself as the UK’s oldest seaside resort and has been welcoming visitors for some 360 years. Later, we check into our hotel in time for dinner.

Monday
Whitby Regatta

After breakfast, we head to the charming coastal town of Whitby, famed for its connection to Bram Stoker’s Dracula, for the annual Regatta. Take in the festivities at one of the UK’s longest-running seafaring celebrations filled with a wide range of entertainment. Wander around the quirky streets and the picturesque harbour before tackling the climb up to the atmospheric ruined abbey, perched on the cliffs above the town. Later, we rejoin the coach for our journey home.
